Sock and Vacuum trick was genius. Put mine in rice for about 15 hours, no change, though I hadn't opened the back cover before putting it. Saw this video, opened the back cover, put it in a sock and let warm air from the vacuum blow inside. Took it out in around 45 mins (phone didn't have a lot of water), waited for the battery to cool down a bit, plugged it in, and its now working. Thank you for this.

I’m sure someone else has probably commented this, but if you left the outer glass tray you could have added water for them to drink. I would damn the water to only the shorter ends of the box, to make two small water troughs. Maybe make the walls to the outside a tad taller so squirrel couldn’t reach the water. Or an even smaller glass box in the center instead, and fill that with water. OMG, could even add a bubbler Solar pump, up through the center pipe. Just an idea. 😊 Those birds would never leave.

Vaping is just as unhealthy. It was supposed to be a way to make smokers quit but instead people have started vaping who never smoked. Just never smoke or vape.

I wonder if you could make a version that would keep out smaller red squirrels, but not too many birds...

I never had ever smoked. 2018 diagnosed with COPD all environmental. Grew up with second hand smoke, was a welder, and farmer. Have %60 left never have had Covid. It suck’s stop smoking.

I switched to this method as soon as I saw this video. I use it on my swimming shorts too. But it does untye the same way as the old method.

Lungs can clean itself and it's just impossible to smoke 600 sigarettes in one time, but yeah, smoking is bad
